Employers have a legal responsibility to ensure that the environment in which their employees work is properly assessed. This is particularly important when increasing numbers of people are working from home using non-standard workstations and seating.
UKSHW will provide a simple workstation assessment service, designed to enable compliance with the Display Screen Equipment regulations. We would spend around 15 to 20 minutes with each user assessing posture, chair set up, screen position, keyboard and mouse position, other equipment and environment. We would provide training and advice in good posture and set up. A summary report with any recommendations would be provided for each user. Each user would be given a guide on optimal workstation set up.
